d earning calculation from a joint business

Basic Math MCQ 17 (Collective and individual earning calculation)

MCQ 17: A, B and C together earn Rs.150 per day while A and C together earn Rs.94 and B and C together earn Rs.76. The daily earning of C is.

a) 10 Rs,                     b) 15 Rs,                       c) 20 Rs.                     d) 25 Rs.

so, by given condition  information we can arrange information;

\[ A+B+C=150—————-(1 \]

\[ A+C=84—————-(2 \]

\[ B+C=76——————–(3 \]

so, Adding eq 2 and 3

hence, we get

\[ A+B+2C=94+76=170 \]

From there we get value of A+B

\[ A+B=170-2C \]

Put this value of A+B in eq 1

\[ (170-2C)+C=150 \]

so on Simplifying !

\[ C=170-150=20 \]

So, C earns Rs20 – so option C is correct!
